Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), New Delhi has issued an employment notification for the recruitment of 1017 posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Librarian, Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner, Administrative Officer, Finance Officer, Assistant Engineer, Assistant, Hindi Translator, Upper Division Clerk and Stenographer vacancies on direct recruitment basis. 1. Deputy Commissioner

No. of post: 04 Posts

Qualification:
1. At least a second class Master’s Degree.
2. B.Ed. or equivalent degree.
3. 05 years’ regular service as Assistant Commissioner.
OR
08 Years experience as Assistant Commissioner and Principal together with minimum 01 year’s experience as Assistant Commissioner(Both Principal

2. Assistant Commissioner

No. of post: 13 Posts

Qualification
i) Masters Degree from a recognized university with atleast 45% marks.
ii) B.Ed or equivalent degree
iii) Knowledge of Computer Application.

3. Administrative Officer

No. of post: 07 Posts

Qualification: Graduate

4. Finance Officer

No. of post: 02 Posts

Qualification: 

i) B.Com with 50% marks in the aggregate and atleast 4 years post qualification experience in the Audit and Accounts works.
OR
M.Com with 50% marks and atleast 3 years post qualification experience in the Audit and Accounts works.
OR
CA(lnter) or ICWA(lnter) or MBA(Finance) or PGDM(Finance) (2 years full time or 3 years part time) with 2 years post qualification experience in the Audit and Accounts works.
ii) Knowledge of Computer Applications.

5. Assistant Engineer

No. of post: 01 Post

Qualification: 
i) Graduate in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University.
ii) 2 years experience in design and engineering in concerned branch.
OR
3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institute and 5 years experience in concerned branch.

6. Assistant

No. of post: 27 Posts

Qualification: 
i) Graduate with 3 years experience as UDC in Central/State Govt/Autonomous Botties/Public Sector Undertakings.
ii) Knowledge of Computer Applications.

7. Hindi Translator

No. of post: 04 Posts

Qualification: 

Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
OR
Master’s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level
OR
Masters degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree level;
OR
Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or.elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree level;
OR
Master’s Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level;
AND
Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice-versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government office, including Government of India Undertaking.

8. Upper Division Clerk

No. of post: 146 Posts

Qualification: 
i)Graduate
ii) Knowledge of Computer Applications.

Experience: Three years experience as LDC in Central Govt./ State Govt./Autonomous Bodies/Public Sector Undertakings.

9. Stenographer

No. of post: 38 Posts

Qualification: 

i) 12th pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
ii.) Skill test Norms
Dictation : 10 mts @ 80 w.p.m
Transcription:
50 mts (Eng) 65 mts (Hindi)
(On computer)

10. Lower Division Clerk

No. of post: 561 Posts

Qualification: 

i) Class XII pass or equivalent qualification from recognized board or university.
ii) A typing speed of 35 w.p.m, in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer.
iii) Working knowledge of Hindi,
iv) Knowledge of Computer Applications.

Note : The qualification of typing mentioned in the Recruitment Rules will not apply in the case of Physically Handicapped persons who are certified as being unable to type by the Medical Board attached to the Special Employment Exchange for the Handicapped (or by a Civil Surgeon where there is no such Board).

11. Librarian

No. of post: 214 Posts

Qualification: 
i) Bachelors Degree in Library Science OR Graduate with one year Diploma in Library Science from a recognized Institution.
ii) Working Knowledge of Hindi & English.
iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Written Test, Computer Based Test/ Examination, Skill Test, Typing, Proficiency Test and or Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.1200/- for Group A, Rs. 750/- for Group B & C through online by using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking (If Applicable). No fee for SC/ ST/PH & Ex-service men candidates.
