This unit will be recruiting new (MALE) recruits hailing from Sikkim,
West Bengal, Andaman & Nicobar Island and North East States (Assam,
Manipur, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura and Arunchal Pradesh) during
recruitment rally from 05 September 2016 to 10 September 2016 at Binnaguri,
NCOs’Academy, Distt- Jalpaiguri, State – West Bengal from 0530h as follows:-
Vacancy details:
1.
General Duty
No. of post: 26 posts
Age : 18 to 42 years
Qualification: The criteria
of minimum education qualification of Class-X pass with minimum 45% of
aggregate marks and minimum 33% marks in each subject. Class-X pass only for
.person living in Assam, Tripura, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur and Nagaland.
Class VIII pass to personnel living in Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim and those
who are entitled dispensation. No Stipulation of Percentage in case of Class
XII.
2.
Washerman
No. of post: 01 post
Age : 18 to 42 years
Qualification: Minimum
education qualification for the post of Washerman is Class-X Pass. Class VIII
pass for candidates belonging to all seven NE States (Assam, Tripura,
Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur and Nagaland and Arunchal Pradesh), Sikim and
Andaman & Nicobar Island and those who are entitled to dispensation.
3.
RT JCO (Pandit)
No. of post: 01 post
Age : 27-34 years
Qualification: Minimum
education qualification is graduate in any discipline from a recognized
University. In addition to this the individual must also possess the following
qualification
(a) Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhusan in Hindi or equivalent standard in
the regional language concerned.,
(b) Those who have passed BA with Sanskrit/Hind: as one of the
elective (main) subjects but have not done Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhusan in
Hindi.
The selected candidates will be employed in
113 Infantry Battalion (TA) RAJPUT as soldier Group Y (Combatant). The pay and
other facilities will be as under:-
(a) During
probation – Rs. 8,550/- per month.
(b) After
probation – Rs. 22,000/- approx per month incl DA.
(c)
Religious Teacher (RT) JCO – Rs. 16,000/- per month during probation.
(d) Entitled
Ration, accn & uniform.
(e) CSD
Canteen facilities for self and dependents.
(f) Free
medical facilities for self and dependents while under training/ duty.
Minimum Physical Standard
(i) Height –
Min 160 cms
(ii) Weight
– Min 50 Kgs
(iii) Chest
– Min 77cm with expansion of 5 cms
(iv)
Gainfully employed in Govt/Semi Govt/Pvt Sector or self employed.
(v)
Candidates must be domicile of West Bengal, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram,
Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura and Andaman & Nicobar Island.

Terms and conditions:
(a)
Candidates have to be gainfully employed. Candidates should bring No Objection
Certificate from their employer.
(b) The
selected candidates will be employed in 113 Infantry Battalion (TA) RAJPUT.
(c) Recruit
Training : Once the candidate is enrolled, he will be trained as recruit for
the period of 32 days from the date of enrolment. On completion the recruit
will be sent to the Companies which are embodied.
(d) Annual
Training Camp : In case a person is disembodied he will be recalled for
embodiment for two months/14 days Annual Training Camp each year and will be
disembodied on completion of Annual Training Camp.
(e) Rule 33
under TA Act 1948 : During emergency period :-
(i) To
render military service alongside Indian Army during war and peace.
(ii) To support
the Indian Army during Counter Insurgency Operation in all over India.
(iii) To
provide assistance during natural calamities like floods and earthquakes.
(iv) To help
the civil administration in maintaining essential service.
Candidates are required to produced the
following documents at the time of enrolment:-
(a)
Education Certificates including Board Certificates in original and photocopy.
(b) Domicile
certificate in original (Issued by SDO/DM).
(c) Passport
size photographs colored (6 copies).
(d) Latest
character certificate ( Issued during last six months )
(e) Ration
Card/Voter Identity Card/Aadhaar Card.
(f) No
objection Certificate from civil employer (if employed).
